A sensible grey, black, or tan, they would have understood, but strawberry?
In the button down Cold-War world of 1955, no one wanted a strawberry car. Indeed, almost none of the 748 Mercedes 300 S’s made during this elite models 7-year production run from 1951 to 1958 were strawberry.
